Opened in 1909, next door to the Colonial (Iowa) Theater. The Lyric Theater is one of three very close theaters on Main Street, Grinnell, Iowa, the other two being the Iowa Theater and the Strand Theater. The Lyric Theatre was still open in 1928, but had closed by 1931. It has been demolished.
