Carmike’s Ovation Cinema Grill 11 opened for first-run movies on December 8, 2016, at the Snellville Exchange. On the preview days of December 2 to 6, it held showings of recently released films for $3.
The cinema offers full-service dining where food can be ordered and brought to oversized, automatic recliners. Also available is a lounge, with sofas and a fireplace, serving cocktails, wine, and craft beers from around the state. The menu includes chicken wings, shrimp, onion rings, nachos, cheese quesadillas, salads, wraps, pizza, and sandwiches.
Designed by Artech Architecture, the BigD auditorium, with a screen more than 70-feet wide and three stories tall, seats about 250 while the other auditoriums seat around 55.

Oh god to have a theater in NY with a screen 70 ft wide to have occasional 70MM and Cinemascope classic films.
Why isn’t there one lousy billionaire film nut in the city to make this happen?
Though the smell of onion rings and nachos, while I love them, would not be welcome.
The last theater Carmike opened before AMC bought them out.
