The Ritz 15 opened on November 20, 1998 as part of the Hollywood Connection Family Entertainment Center, owned and operated by Carmike Cinemas. The theater featured stadium seating and digital sound in all auditoriums and THX certification in five.
The Hollywood Connection also included a carousel 28 feet in diameter and 20 foot high, a skating rink, a 21,000 square foot 18 hole minature gold course, roller coaster, bumper cars, video arcade, laser tag, a 30 foot Balloon Tower ride, party rooms, a play structure for children, a new “adventure ride” called the Crazy Bus, a restaurant and an ice cream parlor.
The Ritz 15 Theatres closed November 14, 2015, together with the Hollywood Connection Family Entertainment Center.
