Opened with 6 screens on April 8, 1977 in the Market Mall Shopping Centre. In 1987 the cinema was expanded to 8 screens and given more of a Famous Players “Traditional” look.

This opened on April 8th, 1977 by Famous Players with six screens and expanded to 8 screens in 1987. It closed in 1987. On January 31st, 2018 Kinepolis announced an 5-plex to be built in the mall. It will carry the Landmark branding.

The theatre closed on April 21, 2002. Its final movies include Panic Room, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, Changing Lanes, Clockstoppers, High Crimes, Ice Age, The Sweetest Thing, Big Trouble, and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: 20th Anniversary.
