The theater was originally opened as a 4-plex by Consolidated Theaters on December 9, 1983, and they expanded it to 8-screens in May 1988. Later they were bought out by Carmike a few years later. Then in Fall 1999, four more screens were added to the side of the building, bringing the total up to 12. This theater was closed on March 9, 2012 after Carmike built a newer 12-screen theater inside Foothills Mall. This theater has since been demolished and a Kroger store now sits on the site.
Auditorium capacities were 187 for the original 4 houses (1, 2, 11 & 12), 88 & 154 for the late-1980’s add-ons (7, 8, 9 & 10), and 114 for the 1999 additions (3, 4, 5 & 6).

Consolidated operated this when it was expanded to eight screens in May of 1988.
