Styles: Mission Revival
Previous Names: Sedler Theatre
The Sedler Theatre launched on November 8, 1921 on Electric Avenue designed in a Mission Revival style. The opening movie “Revenge of Tarzan” was a sell-out. But success was short-lived and the theatre was closed within a year. Rivoli Amusement took on the theatre relaunching October 6, 1922. Financial issues continued to dog the location which appears to have closed in 1925.
It re-opened and operated until at least 1952.
