Hollywood Bioscoop

Located in the Market Square and built on the site of the old fire station. The 3-screen Hollywood Bioscoop was opened on 17th March 1992 with “The Last Boyscout”, “Cape Fear” & “Doc Hollywood”. It was designed by architect Jan Wind of Musselkanaal. Screen 1 had 130 seats and Screens 2 & 3 each had 105 seats. It was built by and operated by Geert Hollemanns who had operated the towns' Scala Theatre. On 12th December 1996 a 100-seat fourth screen was opened, giving the complex a total of 440 seats.

In October 2004 it was re-named Movie Unlimited, and was closed on 1st October 2008. It has been converted into an Ultimate Gym.
