This opened in the El Centro Mall on June 1, 1974 by Texas Cinema Corporation. Later on, it was owned by Plitt, Cineplex Odeon (Keeping the Plitt name) and Cinemark, who closed it in 1990 when the Dollar Movies 8 opened up.
