The Westminster 6 was opened by American Multi Cinemas on August 10, 1977. On September 5, 1997 it was sold to Silver Cinemas. On December 31, 1999 it was renamed Studio Theatre. On August 30 2002 it was renamed Westy 6. This theatre was closed on June 21, 2008 and was demolished as a part of the Westminster Mall Redevelopment as of Spring 2012.

the westminster 6 opened on 8/10/77. i’m currently putting together a series of books on the history of the denver area’s drive-ins and indoor theatres, including some booking histories. if anyone has questions on the subject, i’ll be happy to share my research with you. see you at the movies ! – ken mitchell (.)
Grand opening ad posted.
This was sold to Silver Cinemas on September 5th, 1997 and listed as a Studio theatre effective December 31, 1999. It was renamed Westy 6 on August 30th, 2002. More to come for this theatre. Should be AKA: Westy 6
