The Pines Drive-In was opened by August 1951 and was operated Arkansas Amusement Co. By 1952 it was operated by Robb-Rowley United and by 1957 Rowley United Theatres Inc. It was still open in 1961, but had closed by 1962.

The Aug. 8, 1951 issue of The Exhibitor reported that “The Arkansas Amusement Company opened its Pine(sic) Drive-In, Little Rock, Ark.”

Motion Picture Almanac mentions:

  • 1952-53: Capacity 450, owner Robb & Rowley
  • 1953-54: 700 (typo?), Rowley United Theatres
  • 1955-61: 450, Rowley United Theatres
  • 1962: Off the list

The site is now a church(First Christian Church), a special education school(Access Academy), and a preschool(First Christian Preschool).
