The Stadium Cinema 1 & 2 in Bowling Green was in the Stadium Plaza Shipping Center. It was across from Doyt L. Perry Stadium, the Bowling Green State University football team’s home that had opened three years prior to the shopping center.

Cinema 1 had 600 seats and the smaller Cinema 2 had 350 seats. They opened July 29, 1970 with Burt Lancaster in “Airport” & James Franciscus in “Beneath the Planet of the Apes”. It was closed April 16, 1987. The cinemas were converted for other retail purposes upon closure. Many years later, the Stadium Plaza was renamed the Greenwood Centre.
