Located in Ballina, County Mayo. The Arcadia Picture Palace was in business by 1924 was run by Thomas Ryan but appears to have fizzled out after 1932 following the opening of the Estoria Cinema. It is then billed as the Arcadia Hall staging plays such as “Romeo and Juliet” and boxing contests. According to the Kine Year Books it had an RCA sound system fitted.
