According to the NRHP listing for downtown, this building was constructed as a hotel in 1881, and housed the Globe Theater in one half from roughly 1915 to 1926. The facade was replaced in 1925. In the 1926 edition of Film Daily Yearbook it is listed with 650 seats. Building is vacant on the September 2015 Google Streetview. 213 is the half of the building with the shingle awning.
