Designed by James Ream & Associates of San Francisco and equipped by Western Service & Supply of Denver, it opened in early-1975 inside the Howard Johnson Motel near the St. Louis, MO, airport. By day it was used as a meeting room, and by night was open to the public as a theatre. It had a free-standing sign, 262 seats by American Seating, a 22x40' screen, an orange and off-white color scheme and equipment by Ballantyne, Optical Radiation, Goldberg, Strong and General Register. It programmed first and second run features.
