The single screen L'Ermitage-Pathe was opened on 21st November 1930 with Lew Ayers in “All Quiet on the Western Front”. It was designed by chief architect of Pathe Cinemas, Eugene Bruyneel, with 1,200 seats.
It was taken over by UGC and closed in 1967. On 30th November 1972 architect Georges M. Peynet drew plans to converted it into three screens, with seating for 550, 280 and 120. It was closed on 16th October 1990 and converted into a large perfumery store, in 2018 operated by Guerlain.
