The Peoples Picture Palace was opened prior to December 1909. It operated out of the Co-Operative Hall. The Co-Operative Hall was still in use in 1930, but had become a bakery. By 1938 it was taken over by the Bromley Little Theatre. In 2018 the East Street part of the building is named Kent House, leading to offices above and the original entrance was a fish & chip restaurant at street level, which by 2020 was a Papa John’s Pizza restaurant. By October 2020 it was Aqua Mediteranean Bar & Grill.
The Bromley Little Theatre entrance is now around the rear of the building on Compass Lane.
