Regal Cinema

Located in Tallow, County Waterford. Opened as O’Brien’s Picture Palace, situated in O’Brien’s Hall which was also used as a dance-hall and theatre. It was constructed in 1921 next door to the owner’s garage and held around 500 people. It was sold to Sean Hyde in 1949 and he renamed it the Regal Cinema. It is believed to have closed in the 1970’s and has since been demolished. The site appears to be occupied by the local fire service.
