In 1914 there was a Riggs Hall listed as open in Bowie, AZ. It may have become the Bowie Theater, which with 150-seats, was listed as (Closed) in 1926 and was not listed in 1927. It had reopened by 1928. Listed as (Closed) in 1932-1934. It had gone from listings by 1935. In 1941 & 1943 editions of Film Daily Yearbook, the Bowie Theater was still listed as (Closed). By 1950 with 250 seats, the Bowie Theater was operated by the Louis F. Long Circuit. It was still open in 1957.
