1913 article.

Located on ‘the busiest spot in Passaic’. The Garden Theatre opened in 1913 by Harry K. Hecht who also operated several other theatres. The Garden theatre was listed in the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory at 246 Lexington Avenue (a misprint as this is a residential area). The Garden Theatre had closed by 1926. Today the building is a Telco clothing store.
