The Cameo Cinema and Café was a shop conversion opened in October 1949 by Leo Kearns. It was remodeled opening again in July 1952 as the Cameo Cinema and is likely to have closed sometime in the 1960’s. Another cinema with the same name opened in 1976 in Middle Abbey Street.

The facade, at least, survives, currently a North Face outdoor clothing store. Postcode is D02 DX98. I have no information as to whether any of the cinema interior still survives though.
