Located in Hildesheim, north Germany, to the south of Hanover. The Thega Filmpalast was opened by 1951. It was designed by architect Dirk Gascard. By 2019 it was operating a a 6-screen cinema. Every Thursday one of the screens shows a current blockbuster film in its original English language.
