IMC Kilkenny

This new twelve-screen multiplex opened on 12th April 2019. The newspaper KilkennyNow.ie (18th April) reported that five screens were now open with more to follow in the coming weeks. A spokesperson for IMC said that the chain’s existing cinema in the town’s Gaol Street would remain open. No seating capacity was mentioned in the opening reports but a planning application, for a ten screen on the site, was for 1,444 seats.
