As reported in the Calgary Herald, a massive fire, during construction, started by an electrical problem, swept through Cineplex Cinemas in Seton on November 4, 2017.
Scheduled to open in December the theater finally opened July 11, 2018, with seven screens and four more that followed in August.
The cinema includes an UltraAVX large format screen, D-Box motion, RealD 3D and Dolby Atmos sound, viewed on 1,900 recliners.
