Located in the southeast of the city centre. The 500-seat Eden des Gobelins was opened in 1911 with seating provided on orchestra and balcony levels. On 19th December 1929 it was re-named Kursaal de Gobelins. In 1967 it was re-named Translux Gobelins 70 following a renovation to the plans of architect M. Georges Peynet. The seating capacity was reduced to 350-seats. Taken over by Paramount and re-named Paramount Gobelins in the 1970’s, it was closed in 1985 and has since been demolished.
