The Tivoli Moderne Filmbuehne was opened in 1950. The architect was Paul Bode who was based in Kassel. There was a stage in front of the screen (8x4.7 metres. CinemaScope was added in 1956. The B 8 projectors were by Bauer and the seats were by Schroeder & Henzelmann.
