On November 7, 1953, Boxoffice reported, “The Circle JM Drive-In has been opened by Mr. and Mrs. Merle Alger and son Bob. The initials used in the naming of the drive-in are for Janice and Merle, the first names of the owners. Located just south of Hunters Lodge on Highway 395, the new drive-in accommodates 350 cars. The theatre was operated for three weeks then closed early this month for the season”.
The drive-in was still outlined in a 1965 topo map, but was completely gone by a 1994 aerial photo.

The drive-in was still intact in a 1982 aerial.
Today, all traces of the drive-in, including the original entrance/exit roads and outline save for the projection booth/concession stand which is still intact and in-use.
