Located in the Stuttgart-Mitte district of the city centre. The single screen Gloria Filmtheater was opened on 2nd August 1956 and was operated by Eugen Metz Filmtheaterbetriebe. It was designed by architect Otto Hofstetter with 1,901 seats in orchestra and balcony levels. The colours of the auditorium were yellow & blue. A 115 square meters Miracle Mirror screen by Harkness was installed.
In recent years the cinema has been twinned with seating for 550 & 416. Both screens have Dolby sound and are THX certified.
