Bona Palace Cinema IMAX at Bund Finance Center

Located in the Bund Finance Center Complex, which was designed by noted British architects Thomas Alexander Heatherwick & Sir Norman Robert Foster. Gigantic Bambus curtains move slowly round the building. The Bona Palace IMAX at BFC was opened in 2018 as a modern multiplex cinema with an IMAX screen. It was designed by the architectural firm One Plus Partnership, based in Hong Kong.

The design of the cinema won the following awards: Red Dot Award, German Design Award, Frame Award, FX International Design Awards, Hospitality Awards, DNA Paris Design Award, Singapore Good Design DG Mark, Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards, Design Excellence Awards and Golden Pin Design Award.

The Bona Palace Cinema at BFC should not be confused with Palace Cinema at Xuhui district or Broadway Circuit Palace Cinema at Pudong new area or Palace Cinema at Capital and Raffles City Changning district.
