Located in Greenock, Renfrewshire. The La Scala Cinema was opened in April 1914. It was independently operated. In 1930 it was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system. The proscenium was 31ft wide. It was closed in the summer of 1962, but was still listed in the 1966 edition of Kine Yearbook. It was converted into a Top Flight Bingo Club. The bingo club closed in 1997 due to a new Mecca Bingo club opening on a nearby site.

The building became derelict and was still standing in October 2002. It was eventually demolished. A block of flats has been built on the site.
