Suburban single-screen that was near Castle Skateland roller rink in the Shoppers Haven Shopping Center. The Loveland Cinema was opened by United General Theatres on October 29, 1971 with Peter Cushing in “Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed” & Christopher Lee in “Dracula Has Risen from the Dead”. The opening was attended by film stars Ann Blyth and Andy Devine appearing ‘in person’. Based on public records, it was operated by Mark Siegel beginning on Christmas Day, 1974. Quietly closed sometime after 1981. The Flying Ninja Academy, a childrens' athletic facility, now seems to occupy that space.
