The Victory Theatre was a popular movie house for the city of Calhoun. I cannot find the opening date, so I’ll say it opened as early as 1943. The theatre installed CinemaScope on June 23, 1955.
The Victory Theatre continued to run in a mix of first-run films, family films, and special showings until 1992 and was closed. It was converted into a video rental store known as “New Release Video” (At The Victory).
