A single screen theatre located near to the current Middletown Cinemas five-plex, free-standing in the back corner of the parking lot and behind a Carrol’s restaurant on this commercial strip. It was just called “Cinema.” It opened in the early/mid-1970’s, and closed in the 1980’s. “Jaws”, “Superman: The Movie” and “Excalibur” are among the movies that played at the Cinema.
