The 112th Street Drive-In was opened by United Theatres (which was owned by Pacific Theatres) on August 2nd, 1968 with John Wayne in “The Red Berets” & Paul Newman in “Cool Hand Luke”. It was taken over by Star Cinemas in 1987 and closed after the 1988 season.
