Located in Sandiacre, Derbyshire on the border with Nottinghamshire. The Empire Picture Palace was a conversion of a Wesleyan Chapel and opened in the early-1910’s. It was closed by the end of World War I. It then went into various uses as a roller skating rink, a billiard hall and a dance hall. Its last known use was as a DIY (hardware) store. The building still stands (use unknown).
