In a 1914 trade advertisement in the Washington Times, this theatre was listed as the “Most Popular Colored Photoplay Theater in Washington”. It opened in 1909 with 245-seats. It was enlarged in 1916. The Foraker Theatre was closed in 1929.
It also had the Foraker Airdome Theatre located adjacent to it in from 1921.
