The first mention of a Naples Theatre in Film Daily Yearbooks was in the 1936 edition which listed a 300-seat Naples Theatre (Closed). The closed theatre was also listed in 1937 & 1938. In 1939 a 250-seat Naples Theatre was listed. In 1940 thru 1943 it carried the name New Naples Theatre. By 1950 it had been renamed Naples Theatre with 225-seats. There is a 1951 image of the marquee of this theatre in Boxoffice, and it is listed on another movie theatre site. The Naples Theatre was still open in 1957.
