The Cinemas 3 debuted on December 22nd, 1971, in the Brantford Plaza by the proprietor of the Breezes Drive-In and extended to 6 screens in the mid-1990’s before closing in September 2008 as the new Galaxy Cinemas (which has its own page on Cinema Treasures) was set to open. In 1976, it was purchased by Odeon Theatres, which was then acquired by Canadian Odeon Theatres and Cineplex Odeon.
