Located in the north of the city. The Periere Palace Cinema has its entire single storey façade covered with black granite slabs (similar to the Odeon Leicester Square in London, England), broken only by a series of five square windows on the first floor level. It was opened around 1935. The Periere Palace was still open in 1955, but had closed by 1965.
It now houses a Monoprix supermarket.
