ABC was one of the major theatre chains in the UK, operating just over 600 cinemas. The company’s official name was Associated British Cinemas.

KenRoe,I know this is a stupid question.I know what ABC is in the states.I even worked for ABC THEATRES,but what does it stand for in England.It has probably been explained,but I never read what your ABC was in relation to movie theatres.
