Strand Theatre

The Grand Opera House was operating as a movie theatre by 1914. That name had vanished from the town by 1926 when there was a 450-seat Strand Theatre operating. In later editions of Film Daily Yearbook the Strand Theatre was listed with 650 seats and operated until 1941.
