Playhouse Keith

Located in Keith, Banffshire at the corner of Moss Street and Drum Road. The Playhouse was opened as a cinema in 1935. Seating was provided for 500 in the stalls and 150 in the circle. It was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system. The proscenium was 32ft wide. It was operated by Caledonian Associated Cinemas Ltd. chain and booked by A.B. King.

In later years it was renamed Caledonian Cinema. It was closed in 1982 and was converted into a bingo club. This later closed and it became a furniture store. It was demolished around 2002 and a house has been built on the site.
