As announced in The Moving Picture World, October 2, 1920, C.B. Anderson opened his 300-seat theatre September 18, 1920 at a cost of $20,000.

According to the Rigby Star the theatre was open as late as September 1947 when it was playing “Duel in the Sun” starring Jennifer Jones and was absent from Film Daily Year Book 1950.

Sanborn Maps placed the theatre around the corner from the still-existing American/Patrie/Roberts Hotel, a historical landmark in its own right, located at 655 N 2880 E.
