The Wilson Daily Times in a July 4, 1992, story, “Now showing: Wilson’s love for cinema”, reported the Princess Theatre was located across the street from the Wilson Theatre.
The Times says the Princess Theatre opened in 1910 and a 1921 article reported manager Helton Wallace offered to turn over his receipt to defray the high school basketball expenses for the past season.
The Times placed a Lumina Electric Theatre one block east of the Princess Theatre.
