“African American Theater Buildings: An Illustrated History” lists Walter Smith as manager in 1921. The Strand Theatre appears in Film Daily Year Books through 1933 but not thereafter. It has been demolished and the site is an empty plot of land.

Address may have been 1629 Broadway as shown in 1915 Sanborn.
