When Urban Renewal demolished the Academy XXX Adult Cinema in 1971, it immediately moved its chairs, fixtures, and equipment over to 15 N. Harvey Street (across from the Midwest Theatre). The Academy Theatre remained at this location until 1975, when it too was condemned by Urban Renewal.
