Brewster is a ghost town with a population of 3, according to the 2010 Census. The village of Brewster was founded in 1910 and for decades flourished from phosphate mining. The Brewster Theatre came into operation around 1913 and closed during the 1950’s. It has since, along with most of the town, been demolished.
