Carolina Theatre

This theatre was opened in 1935, in a remodeled commercial building that dated to around 1896. The remodel gave it a very bold Art Deco style façade with many vertical brick pilasters dividing it.

This theatre closed many years ago, and was converted back into retail space. The storefront may be from the 1960’s to early 1970’s. The building today has a rather scruffy appearance, and is used by a church which also occupies the building to the south.
