Located in Bratislava at the intersection of Spitalska and Mickiewiczova. The Kino Metropol was opened in 1928. The Kino is located in the two storey basement of a five storey residential building. It was designed in an Art Deco style by architect Juraj Tvarozek. The Kino Metropol was equipped with a British made Christie organ. At street level there was the Metropol cafe.
The Kino Metropol was closed in the early-1990’s. In 1997 the building was remodeled and part of it is now a bank and a bar
