The Lansdowne and VIP location was opened by Cineplex on March 27, 2015, but this theatre was originally planned to be built by Empire Theatres before it exited the business in 2013. The theatre has five traditional screens, four licensed VIP screens with food and beverage service, and one UltraAVX screen with enhanced audio and visual systems and ‘motions seats. The VIP cinemas are 19+ because alcohol is served.
