This theatre opened as the Cozy Theatre in 1932 seating 280. In the late 1940’s it was renamed the Chandler Family Theatre, or Family Theatre for short.
It continued to show movies to this small town with a population of a little over 600 until 1981 when it closed. The building is still there but not in use.
